Appropriately prescribed exercise programs, both prior to surgery and in rehabilitation can play a pivotal role in their recovery, on going treatment and safe return to different levels of physical activity.


This webinar will go through research and guidelines supporting prehab and rehab programs, the different types of surgeries to remove breast tissue (inc. mastectomy, lumpectomy & auxiliary clearance as well as reconstructive surgeries and exercise rehab considerations for each of these.

Hi, I’m Anna-Louise Moule


Anna has worked as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with women with Breast Cancer since 2011 as part of multidisciplinary teams and within her own clinic Balanced Bodies Lifestyle Clinic in Sydney. She has worked with the Cancer Council NSW, BCNA, Reclaim Your Curves and numerous Breast Cancer Support Groups around Sydney to help educate women undergoing treatment and surgery about the benefits of appropriately prescribed exercise for their recovery and overall health. Two of Anna’s clinic locations are within the Kinghorn Cancer Centre and The San Integrative Cancer centre, as well as having close affiliations with The Mater Hospital and Royal North Shore Public and Private Hospital.
